Week 8 Term 1 2016

Dear Parents,

I would like to thank all in our school community for your calm, thoughtful response to news that a child in our school was diagnosed with Tuberculosis. Our thoughts are with this child and I am sure all in our school community wish this child a speedy recovery.

ISOS will continue to respond to the needs of our school community and the next step of this response will be the community information session and testing that is currently scheduled for 10am, at LIPS, this Saturday morning.

The Tuberculosis information session will be run by the Lihir Chief Medical Officer and testing will be carried out by staff from the Lihir Medical Centre. All people in our school community are welcome to access Saturday morning’s information session and testing and all aspects of this will be run by ISOS.
