Week 3 Term 4 2018
Dear Parents / Guardians,
This week our Year 8 students completed their National exams. They have been working hard in readiness for these exams and we know that they have done their very best.
We thank Miss Collins and Mrs Pesas for all of their effort with preparing the students.
Last Friday we welcomed Rugby League coach, Robert Anderson, to LIPS and he ran skills sessions for all classes from Prep to Year 7/8. This was followed by the very successful Rugby League Gala Day last Saturday where LIPS students (from Year 5 up) and students from other schools around the island participated in Rugby League games.
We thank Miss Collins and Mr McKeiver for organising this event and for the lead-up training sessions that have been held on Friday afternoons after school. With over 100 students enjoying the game of Rugby League, this was a great culminating activity!
