Week 10 Term 2 2017
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Tomorrow will see the school hold its annual Athletics Carnival. Please note that students will finish school between 11.30am and 12.00pm on this day and return at 3.45pm ready for the twilight program that begins at 4.00pm. From 5.30pm, after they have finished their races, LIPS students and their parents are free to stay for a BBQ dinner provided by the school.
Due to safety reasons all children must wear shoes when competing. We will make our best effort to ensure there are no sharp objects on the oval; however, this cannot be guaranteed and therefore the safest option is for all children to be wearing suitable shoes. A big thankyou to Miss Collins for organising the day.
Term 2 finishes this Thursday. Student Reports will also be sent home on Thursday. It has been a very busy term, and recognition must be given to the LIPS staff, who have the children’s best learning and interests at heart, and work tirelessly for excellent outcomes. Thanks also to the P&W for their support of the school throughout the term. School resumes for Term 3 on Monday the 17th July.
