Week 1 – Term 4 2020
Dear parents and carers,
Welcome back to all for Term 4! It was great to see all the students so eager to return to school after the break. We have a busy term ahead; please download the calendar in this Toksave, outlining all that is happening throughout the term.
Teachers are busy preparing year 8 for the National Exams in week 5 – we wish our year 8s success in their preparations. It is important that students attend school everyday and have a note in the case of an absence.
Please read carefully the ‘New Normal’ requirements for Term 4 below. These practices continue to be in place to keep our children and island safe.
A reminder to parents and carers that in line with Newcrest Covid-19 prevention practices, students who may have travelled out of Lihir during the holiday break are expected to isolate on return for 14 days and be tested at the Lihir Medical centre prior to returning to school. Please contact the school if you have any further queries.
School for Term 4 will finish on Thursday the 3rd December.
