Week 6 Term 1 2017

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

A reminder that elections for the two vacant parent reps on the School Council will take place at the next Council meeting on Thursday the 16th March. Nomination forms for the School Council are available from the office.

Next week, officers from Callan Services will be visiting the school to conduct an eye and ear screen of all students. Any identified students will be referred to the Lihir Medical Centre for further assessments. Any parents who do not want their children to participate in the screening are asked to inform the school by Monday.

In Term 2 on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May, LIPS will be hosting a netball competition with a team from Kavieng. If you are interested in playing in either the students or adults team, or helping out over the weekend, please see Bron Perkins or Mr. Neville.

Parent/Teacher interviews for all classes will be held between 3pm and 6pm on 28th and 29th March. Parents can book at time with Clementa in the office.
