LIS year 8 teachers are busily preparing students for the upcoming National Exams in Term 4. Preparations include use of past exam papers, mock exams to identify gaps and areas to be worked on, along with individual tuition for students who need it. Compulsory Saturday exam preparation classes are held by teachers at the School to Mine Campus for additional preparation and support. The year 8 class are committed, are working hard and are displaying solid improvement in their preparations.
Parents of high school students are reminded to check their child’s student diary regularly and encourage them to hand their assessment tasks in by the due date.
Along with this, students are reminded not to have unnecessary absences from school. Due to the school’s closure in term 2, every day at school for the remainder of the year is important.
