Week 6 – Term 3 2020
Dear parents and carers,
The School to Mine (STM) incorporates both Lihir International School and the School to Mine Campus (STMC), formerly the Work Ready Institute (WRI). The STMC is the venue for many of the high school classes including Library, Science and Technology. We are in the process of setting up a STEM workshop at the STMC that will enable us to offer first class design and technology opportunities to our students. This includes 3D printing, laser cutting and a workshop for other design projects.
In the restructure, Mr Kevin Collins has been appointed Deputy Principal – School to Mine, with Ms Langusch continuing in the position of Deputy Principal – Lihir International School.
