Week 4 – Term 3 2020
Dear parents and carers,
Part of the provincial New Ireland Day celebrations that were held across the province last Monday included the Governor’s Essay competition. This competition was open to all school aged children in all New Ireland schools. Students from LIS had the opportunity to enter and we are pleased to announce that LIS students won all prizes in categories one and two for years 1 – 8.
Category 1 – Years 1 – 4

There are prizes that will be transported over from Kavieng, that will be given to students at a later date. Well done to the winning students and to all students who submitted an essay.
