Week 3 – Term 3 2020
Dear parents and carers,
Monday is a public holiday for New Ireland Day. It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the beautiful province of New Ireland, a place we are all lucky to call home. I am sure LIS families will find opportunities over the long weekend to be thankful for the people, culture and abundant resources New Ireland has to offer.
As part of the Provincial New Ireland Day celebrations, students from the Year 1-9 classes at LIS have had the opportunity to enter the Governor’s Essay Competition. Students from all New Ireland schools are eligible to enter the competition. We wish all our entrants success!
Thanks to all the parents and carers for all their support and encouragement during the first few weeks of the term. We have made a great start, while getting used to the changes made to keep our children safe.
