Week 9 – Term 3 2019
Dear Parents / Caregivers,
Year 9 and 10.
Lihir International School will take in its first year 9 class in 2020 and year 10 in 2021. This is a positive move by the Business Leadership Team. We will now have quality seamless education from Kindy to Year 10. Our agreement with Education QLD International is being extended to cover curriculum support for high school. The PNG Department of Education has approved our change of status and students will sit the Year 10 National Exams from 2021. We are in the process of looking at staffing and curriculum resources.
