Week 4 – Term 3 2019
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
As part of LIPS commitment to providing the very best educational opportunities, a number of resources have been purchased by the school, with the support of the P&W. As part of our focus on STEM education, the school now has 15 Samsung Tablets to be used across the school. These tablets are used with the robotic Sphero Balls that were purchased by the P&W. These have been utilized in Ms Langusch’s STEM Club, along with assisting in designing for the school’s 3D printer. Thanks also goes to the P&W for their donation of a new telescope.
Year 5/6 Camp
The year 5/6 class will travel to Kavieng next week for their school camp. They will be visiting the Provincial Government, Nago Island Marine Biology Centre, and local schools, among many other activities. The students will be accompanied by Mr. Neville, Ms. Langusch, Ms. Pesas and Ms. Joel. Mrs Liz Daimol will be acting principal next week.
