Week 7 Term 2 2019

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

The LIPS Netball Carnival will be held this Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th June at LIPS. LIPS will be represented by a junior and senior team, with there also being a Lihir ladies team. Joining us for the carnival will be a junior, senior and ladies team from OLSH in Kavieng as well as a local Marahun girls senior team. The girls (and ladies) have been working hard to prepare for this carnival so please come and support them and see some great netball action! The draw is attached to this Toksave with games commencing on both days at 9.00am. Thanks to Ms Langusch and Mrs Neale for preparing the LIPS teams. Thanks also to the P&W for kindly donating breakfast foods for our visiting OLSH teams and shirts for the Marahun girls team. Lunch will be provided for the student players, however, the Canteen will be open from 11.00 – 2.00pm Saturday and 11.00 – 1.00pm Sunday with a sausage on bread, drinks and snacks available for purchase. Please support our Year 7/8 class who will help run the Canteen as part of their trip fundraising.
