Week 7 Term 3 2017

Dear Parents / Carers,

The Year 6/7 group, Miss Collins, Mrs Pesas and Mr Neville have returned safe and sound from their Brisbane trip, albeit tired, and with much excitement and news to tell. Welcome back home!

Our library Book Week activities last week, which were organised by Mr Neale, were very well received by LIPS students. There was also a writing competition for junior and senior students to describe the place to where they would like to escape, intended to coincide with this year’s theme ‘Escape to Everywhere’. We congratulated Aidan Neale, Abigail Robertson and Iva Kola for their winning entries of fine writing with detail, creativity and vivid description. Thank you, Mr Peter Reed, for kindly donating their book prizes. After assembly, we were treated to an entertaining favourite book character parade.
