Week 6 Term 2 2017

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

Today I have travelled out to attend the QLD Department of Education and Training Principal’s Conference, sponsored by Education QLD International. This year’s conference theme is “Connecting Globally: Creating Educational Opportunities”. During the Conference awards will be given for Excellence in Delivering the QLD Curriculum. LIPS has put in a submission for the Awards Category “Innovation by a School in Supporting the Student Experience.” In this submission, we focused on the school’s celebration of PNG’s Independence.

Mrs. Jenny Thomas will be Acting Principal until my return next week.
