Wednesday of this week was United Nations World Tolerance Day, which promotes respect, dialogue, cooperation and tolerance of all cultures. Awards were given on assembly to students who embody these values at LIPS with each class marking this day in various ways. Please see how our Kindy students celebrated the day attached to this Toksave.
This week Mrs. Watkins and the year 6/7 class have put together a ‘museum’ display of Ancient Egypt in the Library. It is an excellent display and all classes have had an opportunity to visit the ‘museum’ and learn more about Ancient Egypt.
I will be out of the school next Monday and Tuesday attending safety training. Mrs. Thomas will be acting principal in my absence.
