Week 8 Term 3 2016

Dear Parents / Guardians,

Thank you to the committed group of parents who have been meeting regularly to organize this year’s Independence Day celebrations at LIPS (Friday 9th September). It’s looking to be an amazing evening of colour and culture to celebrate PNG’s 41st anniversary of Independence. The day will begin with a craft market from 2.30pm onwards at the school. School will finish at lunch (12.45pm) on this day. This will allow the children time to go home, rest and prepare, before they are due back at the school at 4.00pm. There will be no canteen next Friday. The official program begins at 5.00pm sharp. All are welcome to attend and celebrate with us.
