Week 9 Term 1 2016

Dear Parents,

We have almost reached the end of another term of learning at Lihir International Primary School and I again need to acknowledge the terrific effort and behaviour displayed by all students throughout first term.

The positive classroom tone, which is evident at nearly all times, really sets the scene for an effective learning environment and great credit must also go to our hard working teachers who ensure all students have access to the best possible learning opportunities.

I am sure that many parents saw evidence of these positive Student / Teacher learning partnerships when going through the term one portfolios and hope all parents were able to follow this with a Parent / Teacher Interview to discuss your child’s learning progress and plans for future improvement.

If you have not yet returned your child’s portfolio please do this as soon as possible so that teachers can continue to build on these records of your child’s learning.

Please remember that first term finishes at 2:45pm this Thursday and school will recommence on Monday 11th April.
