It was terrific to see students return to Lihir International Primary School this morning for the beginning of the 2016 school year.
I would like to extend a special welcome to the Anglesey, Butt, Moning, Mullumby, Tiikie and Watkins families, whose children join us for the 2016 school year, while also extending a warm welcome to our new teacher, Mrs Watkins, who will be teaching the Prep and Grade One class.
We are really looking forward to getting to know all new students, parents and staff as they become part of our school community and it was also great to see old friends greeting each other following the Christmas break.
